Aveda recently reformulated their deposit only color line and the new formulation has us in love. We can now add incredible shine to your hair with longer lasting effects. The new Aveda color, called Aveda Full Spectrum Demi, is made up of a conditioning blend of certified organic plant oils, kukui, sunflower, castor and jojoba. These oils improve the condition of damaged hair and provide radiant shine. After 15 years of using Aveda’s last demi line, Full Spectrum Deposit Only Color Treatment, Aveda colorists are beyond excited for this color. With 2 strong years of research and formulation, scientists at Aveda launched the new demi line to meet colorists and guest? needs and we can strongly say they have exceeded our expectations.
If you’re looking to make a bigger change with your color than what a 5 min shine treatment would provide, we can use the demi line with a longer processing time of about 20 minutes. An all-over color applied with the demi-permanent color line will provide changes in the tonal hue of your hair for about 24 washes. (Meaning, the less often you shampoo, the longer it lasts.) We suggest demi hair color to anyone who is not ready to fully commit to a color change.
